In the spring of 2003, The Century Council released
Alcohol 101 Plus™, an innovative program that aims to help college students make safe and responsible decisions about alcohol. Set on a virtual campus, this award winning program features contents designed to address the problems of specific at-risk populations in college settings:
Each segment explores special issues and decisions regarding alcohol, for students in each of these groups. From the challenges of hosting safe and responsible parties in a Greek setting, to the special peer pressures that athletes and first-year students face, this educational tool provides students and educators thoughtful and realistic scenarios for reflection and discussion.
In addition to its award winning and evaluated contents, Alcohol 101 Plus ™ in its new online format now offers: a B4Udrink tutorial; pre- and post- student surveys and downloadable educational materials. Completion of the free registration form is required in order for educators to access Alcohol 101 Plus ™ complementary educational tools.
If you’re an educator, student, parent or if you’re simply visiting our website feel free to enter Alcohol 101 Plus™ and explore this virtual campus at your own pace!
